First official visit to Saudi Arabia

A welcome in Saudi Arabia during his first official visit to the Kingdom as Minister of State for External Affairs and for Environment, Forest and Climate Change. According to MEA, the programme included meetings with the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Climate Envoy, and the Vice Minister for Environment, Water and Agriculture. He also met the Indian community, business leaders and Indian workers.

    Kuwait after the Mangaf fire

    Travelled to Kuwait on the Prime Minister's direction after the fire. A special IAF aircraft repatriated the mortal remains of Indian nationals that evening. All India Radio reported his visits to injured Indians in hospitals in Kuwait City.
